- 200 grams of flour
- 80 grams of brown sugar
- 50 grams of white sugar
- 1 egg
- 100 grams of butter
- ½ pack of yeast
- 35 mililiters of milk
- 1 big apple
- 3 carrots
We start by preheating the oven at 180º.
We prepare the carrots and apples. We peel them and scratch them as thin as possible.
Now we mix the ingredients. First we mix the butter with the sugar until we achieve an homogeneus mix. Then, we add the egg and mix again.
Separately, we sieve the flour and yeast and pour it into the previous mix while shaking so both ingredients get well integrated. Finally we add the milk, the carrot and the apple and stir properly.
Once everything is stired, we pour it into a mold (previously spreaded with butter and flour.
We put the mold into the oven for half an hour. To know if it is cooked, we prick it with a fork in the central part of the cake. If the fork turns out to be "clean", the cake is already cooked. If it turns out with rests of the cake, leave it for a little while.
Take it from the ove, let it rest before unmolding it and, ready to serve!
